DWOS meets labs’ needs for flexibility by allowing them to manage the unexpected. Moreover, DWOS enables lab technicians to maintain their creativity and freedom because it does not impose on them a step-by-step design approach.

• Import and export STL files across applications: i) re-use previous designs as wax-ups or antagonist, ii) import additional patient information such as facial scans or jaw bone CBCT scans.
• Change indication during design session at any time without restarting the full process from the beginning. Examples include change from a simple coping to full crown, split a bridge into three because of diverging preparations or remove a pontic as a result of lack of space.

Since its inception, DWOS has adopted an “outside to inside” design strategy, allowing the framework design to be dynamically adjusted to the right occlusion while allowing space for porcelain.
